The Chrysler Valiant AP5 was produced by Chrysler Australia from 1963 to 1965. A new upmarket Regal version was included in the range and in November 1963 a Safari station wagon was released.

The Chrysler Valiant AP6 was produced by Chrysler Australia from 1965 to 1966. A ute was added to the range in April 1965 and called Valiant Wayfarer. V8 models were released in August 1965 in sedan and Safari wagon versions, both powered by a 273 cu in V8 (4.5 L)
